Hydrocarbon sludge
Hydrocarbon sludge treatment
First effectiveness test of the KEEEN process carried out for the operator. Total petroleum hydrocarbon content fell from 282,704 ppm to 3,151 ppm — a 98.9% reduction.

Oily sediment treatment
Full-scale test required by MINEPDED in the presence of upstream and downstream oil sector stakeholders, ahead of approval. Content fell from 488,300 ppm to 915 ppm — a 99.8% reduction.

Water decontamination after a spill
Decontamination of water fouled by an accidental spill. Hydrocarbon content fell from 22,540 mg/l to 4.33 mg/l.

Waste water brought to standard before discharge
500 litres of hydrocarbon-contaminated water submitted for testing. All analysed parameters decreased, including total hydrocarbons.

The values above come from trials conducted in 2022 and predate routine operation of the process, whose acceptance criterion is set at 500 ppm TPH. Each figure is backed by an analysis report issued by a third-party laboratory.
